Every year, NAIFA members travel to Washington, D.C., for one of the most important events of the year - the Congressional Conference. They show up personally to advocate for the clients, communities, and small businesses they serve every day.

This year, over 500 attendees had over 330 meetings covering all 50 states. It was an opportunity to stand united with fellow advisors and tell their story directly to lawmakers. Stories that affect their practice, their clients, and Main Street families across the country.

Congressional Conference is a powerful reminder that advocacy is not separate from professional service; it is part of it. The decisions made in Washington affect retirement planning, small business succession, long-term care solutions, employee benefits, and the financial well-being of millions of Americans. When NAIFA members engage in the legislative process, they help ensure those decisions are informed by real-world experience rather than theory alone.
