September is Life Insurance Awareness Month, and NAIFA-South Dakota is proud to share that Governor Larry Rhoden has signed a proclamation recognizing the importance of life insurance and the financial security it provides to families and businesses across our state.

This recognition was made possible through the initiative of a dedicated NAIFA-South Dakota member, who reached out to Senator Tim Reid to help advance the proclamation. We are grateful to NAIFA President-elect Nathan Kirby and Senator Reid for his assistance and to Governor Rhoden for recognizing the important role life insurance plays in protecting South Dakotans.

This is a wonderful example of NAIFA advocacy in action—members using their relationships and their voices to support our profession and the clients we serve.
