Tom Cothron, LUTCF, FSCP, entered the business in 1979 and joined NAIFA in 1981. In 1986, he was appointed Agency Manager for Southern Farm Bureau and currently manages a multi-line agency in Ocala, FL. He has been named Agency Manager of the Year several times and has also received Florida Farm Bureau's Team Player Award on multiple occasions.
Cothron has served in numerous leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels of NAIFA and is currently NAIFA's Immediate Past President. In 2011, he received NAIFA-Florida's highest honor, the C.G. Snead/J.F. Bryan III Memorial Award for Outstanding Service. He has served as a LUTCF moderator and is a graduate of NAIFA's Leadership in Life Institute.
Tom's favorite activities include traveling with his wife of 30 years, Susie, and spending time with their four children and six grandchildren.
Paul Kingsman, RICP, combines his knowledge of the financial services industry, practical experience as a financial advisor, and background as an Olympic medalist (bronze medal – Men’s 200m Backstroke, Seoul Olympics, 1988) to help fellow advisors overcome distractions, focus on what matters most, and succeed sooner.
Whether making a name for himself as a teenager in international competitive swimming or working for some of the world’s best-known companies, such as Speedo and Morgan Stanley, pursuing and achieving personal excellence has been the hallmark of Paul’s life. He is passionate about helping others do the same. Creating a life of significance doesn’t happen by acciden, nor does building an exceptional financial advisory business; Paul has helped advisors do both.
Kingsman is the Director of Practice Management with Ash Brokerage and lives with his wife and son in Greenville, South Carolina.
Daniel Metcalf is the Co-founder and President of CyberFin. He is a Cybersecurity Evangelist for the insurance industry, on a mission to simplify cybersecurity for SMBs—especially financial and insurance agencies.

Larry D. Deiter was appointed Director of the South Dakota Division of Insurance by the Department of Labor and Regulation Secretary Marcia Hultman on January 8, 2015. Deiter had served as Assistant Director of Property and Casualty, Market Conduct, and Investigations within the department since November 2012.
Deiter has more than 25 years of experience in commercial banking and business management, which includes insurance product sales management. Prior to joining the public sector, he served as vice president/market manager of a publicly traded financial institution.
Deiter earned his bachelor's degree from South Dakota State University and is active as an officer of various civic and community boards.
